Mark Zuckerberg takes the place of Warren Buffett and become the World’s Third-Richest Person

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took the place of Warren Buffett as the world's third-largest man, Bloomberg reported on Friday.

According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Zuckerberg is immediately behind Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and co-founder of Microsoft Bill Gates. The publication notes that for the first time three rich people have become rich thanks to technology.

Zuckerberg, who is 34 years old, costs 81.6 billion dollars. That's about $ 373 million more than Buffett, 87, who is the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. According to Bloomberg, Buffett was once the richest person in the world, but lost that rating after strengthening his charity events in 2006. It is reported that Zuckerberg also said that he will leave 99 percent of his Facebook fund in his entire life.

Despite the Facebook scandal this year with the participation of Cambridge Analytica, a digital consultancy who incorrectly accessed the data of up to 87 million Facebook users without their consent, the company said in April that sales rose nearly 50 percent year on year to 11.97 billion dollars.

According to Bloomberg, the technological fate is about one fifth more than 5 trillion dollars in wealth, tracked by the Bloomberg index. The rating tracks the 500 richest people in the world and is updated at the end of each trading day in New York.
