Network sources unveiled a new piece of information about the yet unrepresented official smartphone V40 ThinQ, which is preparing for the release of South Korean company LG.

As previously reported, the device will receive five cameras. In the rear part of the case there will be a triple module, in the frontal part - a double module.

It became known the resolution of the sensors in the main camera: they are sensors with 20, 16 and 13 million pixels. It is a question of the use of ultra-wide-angle optics and a super-telephoto lens.

Confirmed information that the novelty will be endowed with a system of 3D face scanning for biometric identification of users.

It is noted that the model V40 ThinQ will be equipped with a display on organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) with a cutout at the top. It is claimed that this screen will occupy over 90% of the area of the front surface of the device.

Finally, the announcement of the smartphone is announced: the V40 ThinQ model will debut in September. Actual sales will begin in October.

Note that in the first quarter of this year, according to Gartner, around 383.5 million smartphones were shipped worldwide. This is 1.3% more than in the first quarter of last year, when shipment was equal to 378.5 million units.
