Gaijin Entertainment announced the holding of a two-week event "Operation LETO" in the military online thriller War Thunder. In the course of it, players will be able to obtain rare models of equipment - in particular, the premium shielded modification T-34 and IS-7, one of the most powerful tanks of its time. For this, "you have to try yourself in the role of a true engineer-designer."
For performing special combat missions and participating in random battles, players will receive drawings, materials and details. Of these, you can collect different parts of the tank - for example, a tower or a cannon. Therefore, players will need knowledge of the design features of T-34E and IS-7. The game will offer several options for assembling each part of the tank, and the player will have to choose the right one.
In some cases, the answer can be simple. For example, if the IS-7 has only one barrel, it is unlikely that it can have two muzzle brakes. But some parts will have to study in more detail: what form were the hatches on the IS-7 tower, how many hydraulic shock absorbers were used in its running gear and so on. Information developers are offered to search on forums and in social networks.
If the player chooses the wrong option, the parts spent on assembly will be returned and they can be used again. After successful assembly, give a coupon to the corresponding model. It can be activated or sold on the stock exchange. The coupon on the T-34E can be exchanged for premium armored cars of other countries: German Sd.Kfz.234 / 4, British AEC Mk.II or American M8.
War Thunder is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
